Après un hiver bien rude, SK Records émerge assez tardivement de son hibernation pour vous présenter ses voeux de bonne année, et annoncer pas mal de nouvelles « qui claquent ».

Les prochaines semaines seront fastes, avec les sorties de skeuds de Reveille et Rature, ainsi que la présence d’un stand SK Records, assortie d’un concert de Sathönay, au village label du festiv de la Villette Sonique les 5 et 6 juin !!

No, we were not dead, only in a long hibernation over this deadly rough winter. Now, we wish all a happy new spring and here are some fresh news: we are going to release the new albums of Rature and Reveille over the summer.

Sk records will also be present present at the « Village Label » at the famous parisian festival Villette Sonique on 5th and 6th June. Sathönay will play a show.

NED repart un petit coup sur la route pour tester les nouveaux morceaux du

There are some nice videos of the rubiks to be found on the internet. Clement posted these on the boom boom records website. Clement is a good friend of the Rubiks. there’s one from a great show at la Miroiterie in Paris that our frieds from the gtok gtko collective organized last freezing cold winter. And another one from a show we played at Grrrnd zero with the robocop Kraus.

The album is also finally going to be out pretty soon and gigs are planned in january and february.

Our friend Agathe Max has just released a solo album on XERIC, a division of the infamous TABLE OF ELEMENTS label. The record’s really good. Agathe also released another record some time ago on ANGRY BALLERINA which was also great. It was a live recording at one of the coolest clubs in town, the SONIC. For this one, she used the PWL studios.

She plays shows around here and in New York quite regularly. She also plans to tour Europe in the spring. Get in touch with her if you’re curious to experience a violin blast in your town.

Kabuki buddah have recorded a new album and did a new website.

Kabuki buddah is great. Anybody with a healthy craving for dadaist punk rock should check them out.

I swear this is my last attempt in finding a good way to regularly update this site. Even when I’m out of town, which is a lot at the moment. So: there you have the news blog of S.K records which will be updated hopefully at least every week. I won’t translate it. It will be in English or in french when I feel lazy, don’t worry, you’ll see that french is not so unbearable when written and I’ll put photos to illustrate. Anyways. Enjoy. Ciao.
